HERMANUS

...on the edge of rocky cliffs this former fishing village has grown into the world's best land-based whale watching spot. Forget the restaurants and grab yourself some fish and chips and watch the Southern Right whales spy-hopping, breaching and lob-tailing! The official town whale crier is busiest between July to November/December.

SWELLENDAM

...is the perfect overnight spot if your are driving through to the Garden Route or Cape Town. Situated halfway between Cape Town and George this historic village; 3rd oldest town in South Africa, has over 50 national monuments most of them building of Cape Dutch architecture.

"This house is a wonderful place to stay when in Cape Town. Now that there will be designated parking it will be easier. Excellent to have no load shedding."
