"Richard's place at 42 Napier Street ticked all of our boxes for our stay in Cape Town. It felt like home from home was bright and well furnished.
We only wish we had more time to enjoy the outdoor space more as we spent a lot of our time exploring, the city, touring the coast and vineyards.
The cherry on the cake was the proximity of Michelle's Village Cafe 2 doors away where we enjoyed breakfast each morning. The food was top class and the staff were both charming and attentive."

"First visit to South Africa so had no idea what to expect. The property we stayed at was perfect for us. The house was large enough for us (5 adults) with great outdoor spaces to sit and enjoy stunning views of Table Mountain and lovely views from the harbour.
The recpetion wA just around the corner and there were numerous coffee shops, restaurants etc within easy walking distance if you didn’t want to cook yourself. All in all a lovely place to stay"

"Modern, stylish, comfortable house with great facilities in a safe upmarket neighbourhood. The property is amazing! Our three grown up daughters absolutely loved it! It is modern, very well equipped, has fabulous contemporary art work throughout all the rooms and is in a great location - with a reserved parking space directly outside for one car. Inside there is small internal courtyard open to the elements and on the upper deck there are sunbathing and bbq facilities and a wonderful cosy hot tub. The bedrooms are all spotlessly clean, super comfortable and are all en-suite. The reception staff are located about 100m away and very helpful. There is a very good large Spar store about 100m from the property - which will easily meet all of your self-catering needs. It is located in a small upmarket mall with lots of great shops. There are lots of lovely cafes and bars within 2 minutes walk. The wonderful V&A Waterfront is only a couple of minutes away in an Uber (which are plentiful, very cheap and you never have to wait more than 2-3 minutes for them to turn up) There are neighbourhood watch guards 24/7 on all of the streets surrounding the property"

"Richard’s place was better than the pictures. The listing has three floors with the bedrooms and bathrooms on the first floor. There is also a lovely sitting area with a garden and fish pond that makes you feel like you are not in the city. The second floor is the kitchen and living room. This room has sliding glass doors that slide open and make you feel like you are outside indoors. There is also a seating area on the second level.
The crown jewel is the third level. There is a plunge pool and a hot tub. The view from the hot tub is amazing. You can see the whole way to the water and the whole way Table Mountain from inside the tub. We cancelled our last nights activities in Cape Town and just enjoyed the hot tub and the view. It was the perfect end to an almost three week vacation throughout South Africa.
The neighborhood is safe. Many restaurants, bars and a shopping center within walking distance. There are security guards present in the area for an added layer of safety."

"James was very attentive, and whatever we needed, he immediately responded. Also, Okuhle went out of his way on a Saturday when the reception was closed, so he could check us out. And then he let us keep our bags in the reception while we got some food and waited for us until we came back. Hospitality and service from both of them exceeded my expectations. :)"

"The pictures doesn’t do justice, lovely apartment with stunning views and of course a hot jacuzzi to relax which is private for you only. There is also a braai area on the rooftop right next to the jacuzzi which was perfect. The location is perfect, scenic views of Table Mountain and surroundings. The apartment was sparkling clean, was absolutely amazed by how beautiful it is inside. I almost forgot about the rooftop area, best sleep ever! The hosts were extremely kind and was very communicative which made check in very easy and quick. Will definitely be back"

"We have been staying at different properties with this company for the past few years and have been happy with the houses. We love the location, with many restaurants and cafes close by, a much more local feel than the waterfront but still walking distance if you really want to go there. The house was in excellent condition and has nice, good quality furniture. It has two bedrooms, a sitting area, sizable kitchen and a lovely outdoor patio under a big tree."

"Property was in the heart of the gorgeous De Waterkant locale. Lovely vibe around the area, easy to walk to waterfront, commercial district and stadium. We could sit on the front patio and watch the world go by, kitchen was very well stocked in terms of crockery and cutlery, glass, pots and pans. The Spar was close by and restaurants and bars within minutes (and some within seconds - albeit key to note, although two were basically next door/across the road there was little noise outside of that lovely vibe of mumurings of content from patrons enjoying summer evenings). Property in great condition, nice little splash pool. Photos on De Waterkant Cottages website are a very accurate portrayal of the property, we did not want to leave. Engagement throughout the process from James and Okhule was very good, with Okuhle meeting me bang on time at the property to hand over the keys. Look forward to staying in a De Waterkant Cottage on my next trip."
