THE SOUTH AFRICAN JEWISH MUSEUM

...the entrance is situated in the first synagogue to be built in South Africa. This interactive and hi-tech display relates the story of the Jews in South Africa.

RHODES MEMORIAL

...history might not be your thing but this monument, located close to the univercity, is worth driving up to. Huge cast iron lions protect the structure and overlook one of the best views in Cape Town. There is a restaurant at the top and this is on route to Kirstenbosch so worth a stop.
