Important Notice:

As of the 7th March 2018 the DA Leader announced:

“I am happy to announce today that provided we continue consuming water at current levels‚ and we receive decent winter rainfall this year‚ Day Zero will not occur in 2018. This means the taps will stay open in 2018.”

Please read our FAQ section on Water Restrictions, the council, as of 1-2-2018, implimented Level 6b Water Restrictions combined with the existing Phase 1 of their Water Shortage Disaster Plan which was introduced on the 10-10-17.

The city and ourselves are very much still open and welcoming visitors to Cape Town and if everyone plays their part in being water wise on a daily basis then together we will make sure there is enough water for everyone's basic needs. All properties have mains drinking & tap water and you can easily buy additional bottle water in shops if you prefer.

Please not we are not allowed to use tap water to refill pools and hot tubs and, if we cannot source legal non-potable water, when water drops below a certain level due to evaporation in specific properties, then these features will no longer be in use until further notice. We can only apologize in advance for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding that Cape Town is saving valuable tap water for all our basic basic needs.

AREA INFO

Based in and around trendy De Waterkant Village, a district of Cape Town right next to the CBD, our self-catering properties are ideal for both vacation and business trips. We are conveniently located to the Cape Town Convention Centre, V&A Waterfront and Cape Town Stadium.

Every Capetonian will tell you this is the trendy fashionable area of the city where if you like the buzz of a small village feel that is only ten minutes walk to the city center this is the place to stay. Described as a mix between San Francisco and Mykonos the area dates back to the late 1700’s.

Now a-days you still hear the noon day cannon from Signal Hill whilst drinking coffee at The Village Café, watching the boats on the distant horizon ahead. The area boasts some of the best restaurants, bars and clubs in Cape Town and retains a bohemian character that you’ll find hard to forget.
